Perforated Polypropylene and Polyethylene

Polypropylene and Polyethylene are very similar industrial grade sheet thermoplastics. Polypropylene is an economical, semi rigid material and can be separated in two important grades, homopolymer (PP-H) and copolymer (PP-C) polypropylene. Polyethylene is generally High density or HDPE.

These materials can be found in different colours and with different additives and different fibres to change their properties such as Flame retardant, Anti-static additive, UV- stabilised.

Homopolymer polypropylene has a better tensile strength and a higher temperature resistance than the HDPE but lower impact strength. Copolymer has a higher impact strength than the homopolymer but it has a small reduction in other properties. It is used generally for applications, which have colder conditions.
